Trails to Happy Tails, a Florida not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Founded on the idea of stopping overpopulation, abuse, and neglect. We hold events helping people find out that it is important to spay and neuter their animals. TTHT does its best to ensure that no animal in need is ever turned away.
Since we opened in May 2019, TTHT has rescued over one-hundred and ten (110) abused, abandoned, or neglected animals from unfortunate environments. The vast majority of these animals were placed with their happy "fur-ever" human after rehabilitation and training! What started as primarily a sanctuary and rescue for dogs, has grown to care for cats, rabbits, domesticated pigs, guinea pigs, goats, reptiles, and so many more creatures. TTHT routinely works with local Animal Services, Orange and Lake County to handle overpopulated shelters, fostering, and housing of animals not adoptable.
Not content to stop there, our goal is to grow to save more of our four (and sometimes two) legged-friends who so desperately need our help! We hold events to teach about spay/neuter to stop the overpopulation. We coordinate adoption events and routine events to assist in the marketing of our needs, knowledge, and animals available. Even if you are not in a position to adopt an animal yourself, you can still be of help to the animals!
