Dr. Robert C. Robbins is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is also a tenured faculty member in the Department of Surgery at the University of Arizona. From 2017 to 2024, he served as the 22nd President of the University of Arizona, during which he made notable strides in student enrollment, success, research funding, and fundraising efforts. Prior to his tenure at the University of Arizona, Dr. Robbins was the president and CEO of the Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston from 2012 to 2017.
