Begun in 1995, the Louise Brooks Society is a pioneering fansite, online archive and international fan club devoted to the silent film star best known for her bobbed hair and legendary role as Lulu in the classic German film, "Pandora's Box".
The LBS has helped with the restoration of two of Brooks' films, published five books and numerous articles, put on exhibits and events, and successfully campaigned to bring "Lulu in Hollywood" and the Barry Paris biography of the actress back into print.
Along with its acclaimed website, the LBS also maintains a handful of social media accounts.
