I'm John Davies, I am a local doing good for locals. When the Māori named the "Bay of Whales", they could see Campbells Bay to Waiwera, that's my Whangaparāoa.
I am involved in a myriad of activities. As a Community Advocate across Whangaparāoa I help run Life Education Trust Rodney (the Healthy Harold education programme for Years 0 to 8) and the Future Whangaparāoa team. I put both leadership and fund raising skills to work with them.
For fun and keeping my mind sharp I am the President for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 of Silverdale/Orewa Toastmasters.
As JohntheFilmGuy I am a producer, a distribution consultant, a jack of many trades on a set and an acting extra.
As JohntheWineGuy I help manage Liquorland Whangaparāoa. As a wine specialist, I can run tasting parties at your place, act as your personal wine shopper and help restaurants with their wine lists.
Last but not least I can help small businesses with their marketing plans and set up their social media for them.
