Hailing from the snowy streets of Toronto, Jackenley is on a journey of self-discovery and expression through music. At age 14 he began writing poetry as an outlet to express himself in ways he never thought he could through speech -- a hobby that naturally transitioned into songwriting a few years later. When he wasn't spending his time writing, you could undoubtedly find him listening. Growing up some of his biggest musical influences were those that had a strong emphasis on substantially meaningful lyrics that heavily impacted him emotionally, including Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, Eminem, Gang Starr, and countless others. After taking the time to cultivate a passionate online fanbase, Kotzer is now taking to the streets to meet others as passionate and dedicated to his craft as he is, looking to develop tangible connections with fans and artists alike.
