The Association of Hispanics & Latinos proposes to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the people and diverse cultural productions of the Hispanic/Latino world in an enjoyable and accepting environment for all backgrounds. It will also show the history and progress the Hispanic/Latino people have made and advocate for stronger representation on campus. The Association of Hispanics & Latinos will use fundraising, off-campus trips, events, and other activities that respect the Goose Creek Consolidated Independent School District's handbook and regulations. Lastly, it proposes fostering friendly relations with other Goose Creek Memorial clubs and organizations and the community and working with them to understand diversity through cultural awareness better.
