The Barbados-born, Brooklyn-raised artist has shared the stage w/ monolithic icons The Rolling Stones & Michael Jackson w/ his pop-infused Caribbean flavor. Best known for his work w/ Shaggy. The two began collaborating on a string of hits in the 90’s which included “Big Up.” Rayvon said "I had a smooth-edged style of singing & he had that rough DJ style. The chemistry was amazing.”

Rayvon’s hip-hop reggae classic “No Guns, No Murder” (produced by Funkmaster Flex) on VP Records; hit a trifecta on Billboard, ranking simultaneously on the Hot 100, Rap Singles, & R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs charts. The follow up “Pretty (Before I go To Bed),” quickly impacted the Billboard’s Rap Singles chart. In 1995 he recorded the island-tinged duet “In The Summertime” w/ Shaggy on Grammy award-winning album Boombastic. which reached No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and No. 5 in the UK while also featured in various major motion pictures & television series.

His Underground single “Bashment Party,” positioned itself on Billboard’s Rap Singles chart.

The 2001 duet w/ Shaggy, “Angel,” topped Billboard’s Hot 100 & took home an American Music Award for the wildly successful tune. Rayvon appeared w/ Shaggy nationally on shows like Live w/ Regis & Kelly, Saturday Night Live, Jay Leno, David Letterman & All My Children. The song has been certified gold & platinum around the world.

Rayvon release of “2-Way” which reached No. 10 on BET’s 106 & Park countdown & chimed in on Billboard’s R&B/ Hip-Hop Songs chart. His track “My Bad” boasted No. 1 at Top 40 Radio for four weeks
