Meet Kerri, a hobby photographer based in Kansas City, who has a passion for helping others discover their inner beauty and boost self-esteem. She specializes in conceptual portraiture but experiments with many genres, refusing to be defined by one particular style.
Kerri's main goal is to capture the essence of each individual's uniqueness and beauty through her photographs. She firmly believes that everyone is unique and beautiful in their own way, and her main goal is to capture that essence in her photographs.
As a skilled photographer, she has taught at prestigious events such as Shutterfest and Project Obscura in Las Vegas. Her work has been featured in numerous self-published magazines, limited edition publications, and commercial newsstands. She has also worked on commercial projects such as Showtime's Penny Dreadful, GSN Skin Wars, and still-photography for independant short feature productions.
Kerri's studio, located in the West Bottoms of Kansas City, is a space for her to experiment, innovate, and educate others to pursue their passion for photography.
As a military veteran and proud alumni of the Wounded Warrior Project, she is dedicated to raising awareness for mental health including military PTSD, and focuses on inspiring others to prioritize their mental health and seek help when needed.
Through her work as a photographer and spreading awareness about mental health and PTSD, Kerri hopes to inspire others to explore their creativity, discover their true beauty, and find their confidence.
