In 2023 Ben was awarded the San Francisco Artist grant of 20,000 dollars to produce a concert at Herbst Theater Nov. 1st 2023. Tickets $40 advance tickets $20, buy 3 or more advance tickets 16 dollars a piece, limit 9.

Ben is a guitarist Singer Songwriter
He learned to paint from his mother Lillian, and award winning painter who is touched by madness. Bencasso too is touched by madness, but brings his own genius to the canvass.
2013, after getting hit by a BART train which shattered his skull, broke two vertebrae, his collar bone and scapula, Bencasso couldn't play music for a few years, so he got his Multiple Subjects Teaching credential from SF State and taught grade school, then was a consultant to US Department of Education (2017)
Ben got his chops back after a few years of intense physical therapy. He's been on a rampage making up for lost time.
